Jabra has launched two new true wireless earbuds, which the company has deemed as its “most advanced earbuds ever.” The Jabra Elite 10 and Elite 8 Active package a unique set of features each. The Elite 10 are Jabra’s follow-up to the Elite 7 Pro and the popular Jabra Elite 85t, bringing the best of both into a single product. Meanwhile, the Elite 8 Active succeed the Elite 7 Active and now feature robust durability ratings.

There’s a lot going on with the new Jabra Elite 10. These are earbuds made for your daily routine. Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) on the buds auto-adjusts based on the level of noise in your environment. Jabra claims the “Advanced ANC” on the buds blocks out 2x more noise compared to its standard ANC technology.

At the same time, the earbuds feature a semi-open design that’s supposed to relieve ear pressure and make ANC listening more pleasant. The portion of the earbuds that fit into the ears is made up of soft silicon, which could be more comfortable than buds that have hard plastic parts.

Under the hood, Jabra has fitted the Elite 10 earbuds with some impressive tech. You get six mics in all to ensure crips call quality. You also get six hours of battery life that can be extended to 27 hours with the wireless charging case. The earbuds are IP57-rated for protection against dust and water.

The Elite 10 also support Bluetooth 5.3 and Bluetooth Multipoint, ensuring users can at least pair two devices simultaneously. The buds have 10mm drivers that promise powerful sound. They also support Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking. The latter ensures users remain in the center of the soundstage as they move their heads around.

You also get hands-free voice assistance Fast Pair, Swift Pair, and Spotify Tap playback support in the package. Jabra says the Elite 10 will attain LC3, LC3 plus codecs with future firmware updates.

The Jabra Elite 10 are priced at $249, which is pretty competitive for premium earbuds. They will be available in Cream, Cocoa, Titanium Black, Gloss Black, and Matte Black colors starting in September.

The new Elite 8 Active are Jabra’s toughest earbuds to date. A true upgrade of the Elite 7 Active, these ANC earbuds now feature IP68 as well as MIL-STD-810G ratings. That means not only are they completely watertight in 1.5m deep waters and fully protected against dust, but they can also withstand very harsh conditions, making them some of the most durable earbuds out there. Additionally, the case of the earbuds is also IP54 rated for protection against dust and splashes.

Durability aside, the Jabra Elite 8 Active feature the same six-mic calling tech as the Elite 10. 6mm drivers and Dolby Audio should deliver a similar satisfactory sound experience as the Elite 7 Active.

Jabra promises eight hours of battery life on the Elite 8 Active, which is extendable up to 32 hours with the case. This is with ANC switched on.

Like the Elite 10, the Elite 8 Active also feature Google Assistant support, Fast Pair, Swift Pair, and Spotify Tap playback. Bluetooth Multipoint is also included, and the buds are ready for LC3, LC3 plus codec support.

The Jabra Elite 8 Active are priced at $199 and will come in Caramel, Navy, Black, and Dark Gray colorways. Sales will start immediately.
